Coaching Clinics Opened by Lacrosse Canada

First clinic for U7, U9, U11 and U13 ages division starts this Sunday!
Winnipeg Box Lacrosse Commission has advised all clubs and members that without proper certification, coaches will not be allowed on the floor for any reason - practices, games, try-outs, etc.
Steps for Becoming a Coach
- Submit Coaching Application (New Gryphons Lacrosse Coach) [Gryphons Coaching Application]
- Create a Coach Locker Account and NCCP# [Locker/Coach/NCCP]
- Review Coaching Requirements for you coaching age division [CLA Tech Resource Package]
- Complete Core Courses for applicable Age Division
- U7, U9, U11 & U13 Community Development Core [MLA Coaching Clinics], plus online modules[Locker-OnLineLearning]
- Making Ethical Decisions
- Understanding the Rule of Two
- Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
- Making Headway
- U15 & U17 Competition Introduction Core [MLA Coaching Clinics], plus online modules [Locker-OnLineLearning]
- Making Ethical Decisions Evaluation
- Safe Sport Training
- Mental Health in Sport
- Sign up for Technical Courses for applicable Age Division (Gryphons Lacrosse will reimburse for the course, submit receipt and proof of completed training)

- Complete Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders (required every 5 years) [Respect In Sport Activity Leaders]
- Complete Criminal Record Check with Venerable Sector Screening (required every 3 years)
- City of Winnipeg Coaches - Obtain through Winnipeg Police
- Rural Coaches - Obtain through RCMP (free with RCMP Letter for Criminal Check)
- Complete your Coach Registration through RAMP [RAMP Registration]
