The Gryphons are gearing up for a long-awaited return to one of the most storied events in youth box lacrosse: the Canada Day Tournament. What began in 1977 as a small Peewee gathering has steadily grown over the decades into the largest indoor lacrosse tournament in North America.
From the early roots, the tournament has evolved into a massive celebration of the sport. Nearly 100 teams now take part each year, representing communities across Canada and on some occasions even internationally.
Tournament will be on June 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th
An ID camp is a short evaluation camp to gage interest, where coaches get a good look at players and share what the program is all about. This will be a closed ID camp, giving Gryphons families first opportunity. The ID Camp is free and no cost to attend.
To participate on a Gryphons travel roster for the Canada Day Tournament, athletes must be registered with the Gryphons for the 2026 season. Each travel team will carry 18 runners and 2 goaltenders, ensuring balanced, lineups across all divisions.
